Ghanaian defender Oscar Naasei is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid from Granada.
According to multiple reports in Spain, the 21-year-old centre-back is expected to join Real Madrid’s reserve side initially as the club continues to oversee his development within its system.
Negotiations between the two clubs have gathered pace in recent weeks, with reports suggesting a deal could be finalised as early as Tuesday.
Real Madrid are understood to have moved ahead of other interested clubs in the race for the defender’s signature.
Naasei has featured twice for Granada in Spain’s second division this season and is regarded as one of the club’s promising young talents.
Born in Accra, he joined Granada in 2023 and has steadily progressed through the ranks, establishing himself as an important member of the squad.
His rise has also been recognised at international level. Naasei was named in Ghana’s squad for the friendly against Mexico on 22 May and went on to make his senior debut for the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
