The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that its passport application website, passport.mfa.gov.gh, is temporarily unavailable due to technical challenges.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the Ministry said it is aware of difficulties being experienced by customers attempting to access the platform for passport applications.
According to the Ministry, its technical team is working with the National Signals Bureau (NSB) to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
The Ministry has apologised to affected customers for the inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption.
It assured the public that an update will be provided once the passport website has been restored and is fully operational.
