A pastor with the Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners’ Chapel abducted by Boko Haram insurgents in May, has regained his freedom after spending 7 months in captivity.

Pastor Moses Oyeleke, who was abducted alongside a corps member identified as Abraham Amuta while on their way to Chibok to evangelise and also distribute relief items to Internally Displaced Persons, was freed on Sunday, November 10.

 A student of Government Science Secondary School in Askira Uba identified as Nnagilaya Umar, also regained her freedom same day.

The Corps member, Abraham Amuta was not released by the insurgents who accused him of being stubborn. He is, however, expected to also regain his freedom in December.
