The Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road Central is set to distribute 80 dustbins to habitats between the Kwame Nkrumah Circle and Danquah both suburbs in the Greater Accra Region.

This initiative is in collaboration with government as part of the club’s flagship project in a bid to rid Accra of filth and to encourage good sanitation practice.

The Mayor of Accra Mohammed Adjei Sowah, will officially commission the project which is expected to cost GHC45,000 all funded by the club on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

The club has over the years undertaken key projects including the refurbishment of the male wards at the Mamobi Polyclinic, construction of the Asempaneye Basic School in the Eastern Region, a USD 50,000 telehealth project in the Jirapa district of the Upper West Region in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Windsor and water and sanitation projects in Supreso and Tinkong.
