One person is currently in coma and 12 others sustained varying degree of injuries in a an accident that occurred on Friday dawn at Tipper Junction on the Kasoa-Cape Coast highway.
The victims have been rushed to the Gregory Hospital in Kasoa-Buduburam for treatment.

The accident, according to Adom News’ Kofi Adjei, the accident involved a Toyota Urvan and a tipper truck.

The driver of the Urvan, according to him, was attempting to regain control after bursting a tyre.

The vehicle which was traveling from Kaneshie to Agona Swedru reportedly veered off the road and somersaulted a number of times on seeing the tipper truck approaching.

Residents around the accident scene according to reports, went to the rescue of the victims and helped remove those trapped in the car.

Kofi Adjei also reports that the vehicle has been mangled with blood stain all over the scene.
