Sanaahemaa of Akwamu Traditional Area, Nana Foriwaa II could have met her untimely death last Sunday.
According to her, a resident, Kwabena Asare popularly known as Abass who supplies her with sand rushed to her house brandishing machete threatening to kill her for failure to pay for a trip of sand supplied six years ago.
“One of my children rushed home after sighting Abass with the machete towards my house. Though he (son) hid me in one of the rooms, Abass managed to break into three other rooms searching for me. He however gave up and left with the machete”, she said.

“Apart from myself, there was old woman here who is ill but what happened has worsened her condition,” she indicated.
Though the queen who looks traumatized claims to have paid the driver who supplied the sand, Abass insists the queen is yet to pay for the sand since the money wasn’t handed to him.
Speaking to Adom News’ Kwame Yankah, Nana Foriwaa II says her life is now in danger and the matter would be reported to the police at Akosombo.
Meanwhile, Abass denies threatening to kill her but insists he went to the queen’s house to prevent the queen from using his sand which is yet to be paid for after six years.
The issue drew some member of the community to her house to ascertain what really happened.
