Two people are reported to be in a critical condition, whiles one seriously injured at Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region.

According to an eye witness, some land guards intruded on their land with guns and cutlasses to attack them.

In an interview with Adom News, Mr Nurudeen Abubakar who suffered a head injury revealed the land guards have been threatening their lives in the municipality.

He disclosed that, an official petition has been forwarded to the government but all to no avail.

“I will plead with the government. The land guards are disturbing and killing people too much. They should help us. They are raping the women too. We are not safe. We have written a petition and nothing has been done about it…” he said.

Meanwhile, the chief of Fetteh Kakraba Nana Essel Amoaquandor (I) has called on the IGP to come to their aid since their lives are in danger.

However, the Awutu Breku District Police Command have arrested two of the suspected land guards, 38-year-old Anas Issaka and Nii Atoh, 21 years old respectively.

According the Commander, further investigations would be carried out to descend to the bottom of the matter.
