Five people are said to be in critical condition in a gory accident at Buduatta junction on the Kasoa Winneba Highway.
According to reports, the sprinter bus from Accra with registration number GT 5195-15 collided with an articulator trailer from Takoradi heading to Accra Sunday.
Adom News’ Kofi Adjei who visited the scene reported that, the commercial vehicle summersaulted three times and landed in a bush due to the slippery nature of the road.
He noted that the five injured were passengers in the sprinter bus who were sitting in front and at the back of the driver.
He said they were quickly rushed to the Winneba government hospital by some residents who rescued them for treatment.
The other passengers, Kofi Adjei added, are trapped in the car and personnel of the fire service are at the scene working tirelessly to remove them.
Meanwhile, the driver of the sprinter bus, however, bolted from the accident scene.
