A security man at a Goil filling station at Gomoa Buduatta Junction on the Kasoa Winneba road in the Central region Wednesday shot and killed an armed robbers when he attacked them with two others.
The Ojobi District Police Commander, ASP Osei Foffie confirming the incident to Adom News’ Kofi Adjei said the robbers, three in number invaded the office of the station around 10 pm and made away with an unspecified amounts of money and other valuables.
He said luck however eluded them when the security man in charge, Isaac Oliver who was taking a nap pounced on them and begun shooting killing one instantly.
ASP Osei Foffie said the robbers managed to gain access to the shop because the back door was opened.
Two robber are currently at large.
The remains of the robber had been sent to the Hospital mortuary.
