Ghanaian Afro-pop singer, Wendy Addo, popularly known as Wendy Say, has given her music career a break and has gone back to Germany to continue her nursing profession.

On her Instagram page, she shared a photo where she is neatly dressed in her nursing uniform. She thanked God, Rufftown Records, her fans and Ghanaians in general.

Her post has got many of her fans wondering if its an old photo or she is certain about leaving behind all the fame she has attained in the music scene after she signed onto Rufftown records.

She said: ” Baabi angye woa baabi b3gye wo [if one place isn’t good for you, another would accept you]…thank you God,thank you Ghana,thank you Bullet,thank you rufftown and thank you shayGang #yesmadamnurse.”

In another post, the musician said it was nice for her to go back to Germany.

Wendy Shay resided in Stuttgart-Germany with her family where she practiced nursing but her love for music made her relocate to Ghana.

She was signed up to Rufftown Records managed by Bullet in January 2018.

‘Uber Driver,’ ‘Bedroom Commando’, ‘Astalavista’, ‘Psalm 35’, ‘The Boy Is Mine’, ‘Masakra’ among others are some of her singles. She has won Best New Artiste of the Year, Breakthrough Act of the Year and Discovery of the Year at Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
