NPP sets August 22 deadline for National Officers nominations

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially opened nominations for members seeking to contest the party’s upcoming National Officers Elections.

The nomination process began on Monday, August 17, 2026, and will close on Saturday, August 22, with aspirants expected to submit their applications within the stipulated period.

According to the National Officers Elections Committee, nominations will be received daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the six days.

In a notice announcing the opening of nominations, Chairperson of the National Officers Elections Committee, Frederick Opare-Ansah, urged all interested aspirants to take advantage of the period and complete the required procedures before the deadline.

He advised aspirants to come along with the prescribed filing fees, either in cash or by cheque, when picking up their nomination forms.

“All interested aspirants are encouraged to come along with their stipulated filing fees either in cash or by cheque to pick up their nominations within the stipulated period and ensure that all required processes are duly completed,” he said.

Aspirants are required to obtain the relevant nomination forms, pay the prescribed filing fees and complete all requirements before the close of nominations on Saturday, August 22.

NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR NATIONAL OFFICERS ELECTIONS

Today marks the opening of nominations for all aspirants for the National officers positions. The process runs from Monday, 17th August to Saturday, 22nd August, daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

All interested aspirants are encouraged to come along with their stipulated filing fees either in Cash or paid cheque to pickup their nominations within the stipulated period and ensure that all required processes are duly completed.
