NPA pays glowing tribute to late Deputy CEO Dr. Dramani Bukari

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has officially announced the death of its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Dr Dramani Bukari.

The Authority made the announcement in a Facebook post, expressing deep sorrow over the sudden passing of the senior executive.

In the statement, the NPA described Dr Dramani Bukari’s death as a significant loss to the Authority, Ghana’s downstream petroleum industry and the many people who worked with him.

“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Qur’an 2:156,” the Authority mourned.

The NPA said although it is deeply saddened by his death, it takes comfort in the belief that Dr Bukari has returned to his Maker.

The Board and Management extended their condolences to his family, loved ones, colleagues and others mourning his passing.

The Authority also prayed for strength, comfort and peace for all those affected by the loss.

“May Allah grant our brother and leader Eternal Rest. Ameen,” the NPA said.

Dr. Bukari passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, although the cause of death is still not immediately known.
