Member of Parliament for Damongo, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Dr Dramani Bukari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
In a tribute shared on Facebook, Mr Jinapor described the late Dr Dramani as a close friend and a respected constituent who contributed to the development of Damongo and Ghana.
“I mourn the sad and untimely passing of my good friend, Dr Dramani Bukari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and a highly respected constituent of the Damongo Constituency.”
Mr Jinapor said the death of Dr Dramani was particularly painful to him, describing him as both a friend and an important member of the Damongo community.
He further praised the late NPA official for his ability to build relationships beyond political lines.
“Dr Dramani was a fine gentleman who cooperated with folks across the political divide and was passionate about the development of Damongo and his country.”
According to Mr Jinapor, Dr Dramani’s commitment to Damongo and Ghana went beyond partisan politics, as he maintained cordial relations with people from different political backgrounds.
The Damongo MP also extended his condolences to the bereaved family and the wider political and community groups affected by the death.
“I extend my deepest condolences to his wife, children, family, friends, the NDC in the Damongo Constituency, and the entire constituency for this huge loss.”
He acknowledged the loss as a major blow to Dr Dramani’s family, friends and the people of the Damongo Constituency.
Mr Jinapor concluded his tribute with a prayer for the late NPA Deputy CEO.
“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace!”
