Edudzi Tameklo mourns late NPA Deputy CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, has expressed grief over the death of his deputy, Dramani Bukari.

Dr Tameklo announced his passing in a brief but emotional Facebook post on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Mourning his colleague and friend, the NPA CEO wrote: “Rest well, my brother and friend. Allah knows best.”

His message reflected the shock and sadness surrounding the death of Dramani Bukari, who served as his deputy at the NPA.

Dr Tameklo did not disclose further details about the circumstances surrounding his deputy’s death in the post.

The passing of Dramani Bukari has left colleagues and associates mourning the loss of a public servant who worked with the NPA leadership.
