Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah has revealed that a FIFA and CAF-delegation will arrive in Ghana on Tuesday to finalize the composition of the Normalization Committee.

FIFA, in a press release last week, announced that their outfit together with representatives from CAF and the government of Ghana will set up a Normalization Committee expected to work till 31st March 2019 to normalise Ghana Football.

According to the sector minister, his office will welcome the delegation on Tuesday evening after which they will hold a detailed meeting on Wednesday to subsequently announce the membership of the committee expected to begin work immediately.

Amaju Pinnck will lead CAF delegation to Ghana on Tuesday as well as FIFA representatives as we conclude preparations on putting together the Normalization Committee. We have all agreed to meet in my office on Wednesday so we can put together the Committee,” he explained.

The Normalization Committee will see to the day-to-day running of the Ghana Football Association, review the Statutes to ensure compliance and organize open elections for the Association within the next six months.
