Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has described late Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, as “incorruptible fine gentleman.”

He says the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana was a genuine politician compared to his boss, ex-President John Mahama who he described as not “politically astute.”

The legislator believes the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would have been better placed as political party if it had about 40 people with the same traits as late Amissah-Arthur.

“Amissah was indeed a fine gentleman and would be missed greatly. I’m not saying this because he is dead.  Amissah Arthur and I were very good friends so I know what that man stood for. He was a fine gentleman,” he said.
