Johnson Asiedu Nketia, NDC General Secretary

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced it will hold parliamentary primaries for four other constituencies which were on hold on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

These four constituencies were put on hold by the party when it held primaries in 157 constituencies across the country on Saturday, August 24, 2019, due to unresolved conflicts.

In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the NDC said “the Functional Executive Committee of the NDC has cleared the Assin Central Constituency, Mfantsiman Constituency, Fanteakwa North Constituency and the Elembelle Constituency to go ahead with their primaries.”

The issues at the Asawase constituency are, however, yet to be resolved.
