Muntaka inspects 24-hour market, school refurbishment projects in Asawase

The Member of Parliament for Asawase and Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has joined officials of the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly on an inspection tour of ongoing infrastructure projects within the constituency.

The exercise formed part of efforts to monitor the progress of key development initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and public infrastructure in the area.

During the tour, the delegation visited the site of the ongoing 24-hour market project at Aboabo, which is expected to enhance local economic activities, create employment opportunities and provide a modern trading environment for traders and residents.

The team also inspected refurbishment works at the Aboabo Middle B School, where renovation works are currently underway to improve the teaching and learning environment for students and teachers.

According to Muntaka Mubarak, the project will help provide a more conducive atmosphere for academic activities while strengthening educational infrastructure within the constituency.

He expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work being undertaken by contractors on both projects, describing the developments as a demonstration of government’s commitment to infrastructure expansion and community development.

The Asawase MP further reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote growth and improve living conditions for residents in the constituency.
