Dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has lauded Menzgold Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1, for how he addressed the press on locked up monies of Menzgold customers.
NAM1, in a press briefing at M&J Grand Hotel at East Legon on August 19, 2019, urged Menzgold customers to calm down as he readies himself to pay them locked funds invested in his gold dealership firm.
According to him, he wants the government to aid him by unfreezing his personal and business accounts to be able pay his distressed customers.

He explained that, Menzgold is not a Ponzi scheme as perceived, adding that he will pay customers the moment he gains access to his accounts.
NAM1 touched on many issues including how he left Ghana to chase his monies in Dubai, which the Economic and Organised Crime Office was duly informed, contrary to reports that he jumped bail.

Reacting to this, Shatta Wale said Mr Mensah has duly addressed the issues.
He took to Facebook to say “NAM 1 wa kasa 👏🏿👏🏿👏👍🏾” meaning NAM1, you’ve spoken well.
