A 30-year-old man has been shot by unknown assailants at the Kasoa High Tension in the Awutu Senya East constituency of the Central Region.
According to residents, the victim identified as Baba Mohammed was thrown out from a moving taxi.
They claim the victim may have sustained the gunshot wounds during an armed robbery operation.
The residents reported the matter to the Kasoa Divisional Police Command who rushed him to the Kasoa Polyclinic for urgent medical attention.
Despite efforts to save his life, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt for the suspects.
