A man believed to be in his late thirties has allegedly been electrocuted in Kyekyewere, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The deceased, identified as Kwaku Isaiah, believed to be in his late thirties, was allegedly electrocuted at Kyekyewere, a suburb of Bibiani.
Confirming the incident to Adom News, the Assemblyman for the area, Samuel Kwagyire, said he received a distress call that a man had been electrocuted.
He said he rushed to the scene, confirmed the incident, and then informed the Bibiani Police Command.
The police subsequently conveyed the deceased’s remains to the morgue for preservation as investigations into the incident commenced.
He further called for electricity meters to be installed in secure and elevated locations to prevent unauthorised persons from accessing them.
