Former Finance Minister and Karaga MP, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has described the John Dramani Mahama-led government as the “worst government in Ghana’s history”, urging residents of Nyangbulun to reflect on their decision to vote the NPP out of power.
Dr Amin Adam made the comments while speaking to residents of Nyangbulun after supporting the community with a number of interventions.
He said he deliberately stepped aside for two years to allow the current administration the opportunity to govern and demonstrate what it could deliver.
“The John Dramani Mahama government is the worst government in Ghana’s history, and this is clear for all to see, I hope. You voted the NPP out of power, and I intentionally stepped aside for two years to see what they would do,” he said.
As part of his support for the community, Dr Amin Adam helped facilitate the construction of a new CHPS compound to improve access to healthcare for residents.
He also donated GH¢20,000 towards the medical treatment of the community Imam’s son.
Dr Amin Adam further assured residents of Nyangbulun that he would help address their water challenges, promising to repair the community’s broken pipe within a week.
He said the interventions were part of his continued commitment to supporting communities in the Karaga Constituency despite being in opposition.
The former Finance Minister urged the people to continue engaging with leaders and advocating for solutions to the challenges confronting their communities.
