Ghana midfielder Kwasi Sibo and his Al-Swehly teammates have completed their preparations in Misrata ahead of Sunday’s decisive CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg against KVZ FC in Zanzibar.

The Libyan side take a slender 1-0 advantage into the return fixture after Abdullah Al Orfey’s second-half strike secured victory in the first leg at Misurata Stadium last week.

Al Orfey broke the deadlock in the 66th minute after capitalising on a costly goalkeeping mistake, giving Al-Swehly a narrow but valuable lead ahead of the trip to Tanzania.

Sibo is expected to feature as the visitors look to finish the job and book their place in the second preliminary round.

The match will be played at the New Amaan Stadium on Sunday, 13 September, with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 GMT.

Should Al-Swehly progress, they will face either Botswana’s Gaborone United or Tanzanian giants Young Africans in the next stage of the competition.
