Lawyer, law lecturer and member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Communications Team, Kwasi Kwarteng Esq., has tied the knot with his long-time partner, Richlove Yaa Badu Adepa.
Richlove Yaa Badu Adepa is the niece of prominent NPP figure and former Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong.
The couple sealed their union at a private traditional marriage ceremony attended by close family members, friends and loved ones.
In attendance were Mr. Agyapong, former Education Minister and Bosomtwe MP, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, former Information Minister Fatima Abubakar, NPP National Chairman hopeful, John Boadu, broadcaster; Paul Adom-Otchere, Ghana Shippers Authority CEO, Prof. Ransford Gyampo among others.
Mr. Kwarteng took to Facebook to share visuals from the ceremony as he expressed gratitude to all well-wishers and attendees.
The family connection has drawn additional attention to the marriage within political circles.
Kwarteng, a familiar face in Ghana’s political media space, serves as a regular communicator for the NPP and previously worked as spokesperson for the Ministry of Education. He is also a practising lawyer and law lecturer.
The private ceremony marked a new chapter for the couple, who have been together for several years.
