Kuami Eugene, the now popular musician who shot to fame on the back of the popular song Angela has made some revelations about the identity of the character, ‘Angela’.
The buzz surrounding the song transcended the borders of Ghana as it became the toast of many parties and Disc Jockeys both home and abroad.

One thing that remained a myth about the song is that no one knew the identity of the lady Angela in spite of how popular the song has been.
An interview granted by Kuami to Daybreak Hitz host Merqury Quaye on Hitz FM, monitored by Adomonline.com has, however, shed light on who the real Angela is.
He told Merqury Quaye that “Angela is Richie’s [a producer at Lynx Entertainment] big sister. I didn’t have money then so I promised her I will do a song for her to celebrate her birthday and I did.

“Initially she didn’t believe me but she came down from UK and was surprised about how well the song blew and we attended some shows together,” Kuami Eugene revealed.
It is not, however, clear if the song has led to anything beyond what we now know.
