Afrobeats-Highlife singer King Promise has rubbished rumours circulating in the public domain that he is dating television presenter Serwaa Amihere.
The duo were first rumoured to be having an amorous affair after they were spotted together in a nightclub in Accra in 2019.
Moreover, Serwaa Amihere was present at King Promise’s album launch last year.
The TV broadcaster was again seen at the christening of King Promise’s manager, Killbeatz’ baby.
But reacting to the dating rumours in an interview with TV3, King Promise denied being in a relationship with the journalist.

According to him, Serwaa Amihere is only a friend.
She is a friend of ours; she knew many of the people I know before I met her. I am a musician and I am on TV, and she is also on TV so people are trying to make a big deal out of it, King Promise said of their relationship.
The CCTV hitmaker however said he doesn’t comment much about the rumours because he wants to shift the spotlight away from them.
She’s beautiful… I just leave it there and it’s not about when it happens, it’s about what the media is doing. I really don’t try to put more attention to it, he noted.
