The Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football has for the third time running, postponed its “special competition” which was scheduled to start on the 10th to 15th of February this year.

According to the spokesperson of the committee, Dan Kweku Yeboah, the decision follows a meeting held yesterday to deliberate on the rules that will govern the competition.

Dan Kwaku Yeboah who was speaking on Asempa FM said they were waiting for feedback from the clubs on the state of their venues to start the tournament.

“Today is the deadline for clubs that received a notice to resolve their venue issues; obviously, we are done with the fixtures; just waiting for a confirmation from the clubs that their venue is rectified or they should be relocated,” he explained.

“Apart from that [the venue issues], tentatively we are looking at 15th of February to commence the tournament,” he told Kwadwo Mensah Moshosho.

The interim body keeps on changing the date for the competition as they continue to battle with the clubs on integrity issues.

The competition which was initially scheduled to take place on 26th January was moved to 3rd February and to 10th and now 15th February.
