Ghana international Joseph Aidoo has reached a significant milestone in his career after making his 150th appearance for Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo over the weekend.

The experienced centre-back featured in Celta’s 3-0 home defeat to Real Oviedo, a match that nonetheless marked a personal landmark in his long-standing spell with the Galician club.

Aidoo’s latest appearance places him among the top 50 players with the most games in Celta Vigo history, underlining his consistency and importance since joining the club.

Within the current squad, the Ghanaian ranks second only to captain Iago Aspas in terms of longevity, reflecting his established role in the team’s defensive structure.

Since arriving in Spain, Aidoo has built a reputation as a reliable presence at the back, regularly trusted across La Liga and domestic competitions. His durability and steady performances have made him a dependable option for successive coaches at Balaídos.
