A former chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association, Mr. J Y Appiah, has blamed the delay of the Ghanaian Premier League on some individuals in the Ghana Football Association who always want to feed off of the football system.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM, the former FA Cup Committee chairman believes the Disciplinary Committee of the Association is the cause of the league’s delay so the Executive Committee must investigate the committee to curb a re-occurrence.
“The Premier League has been dragged to court for the past five seasons because of people who want to gamble with the game and make unlawful gains out of the system. The Executive committee of the Football Association must investigate the Disciplinary Committee since they appear to be the problem”, Mr. Appiah said.
The experienced administrator said he has advised the leadership of the association accordingly, hoping they heed to his advice so that the league can start as soon as possible.
