The Incumbent Chairman of NDC in the Asunafo North Constituency of the Ahafo Region says he will defeat NPP again in the 2028 general elections, if delegates retain him as the chairman.
Addressing the media at Goaso during the filing of his nomination forms, Chairman Brefo explained that he still has what it takes to defeat NPP again in both presidential and parliamentary slots as he did in the last general elections therefore delegates must retain him.
According to him, the other two persons contesting him do not have the strategies to protect the parliamentary seat the party currently been held by the NDC, therefore delegates must go for him again.
Meanwhile, another Hopeful for Chairmanship, Kwame Adutwum appealed to delegates not to retain the incumbent chairman because he has failed to introduce policies to improve the welfare of party members especially the grassroots.
According to him, once delegates elect him as the chairman he will prioritize their welfare to make the party more attractive in the constituency.
