The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has promoted seven officers from the Tema Regional Command in recognition of their exemplary conduct during a recent anti-robbery operation in Tema.
The advancement follows the officers’ rapid intervention in a robbery incident involving a mobile money vendor at Tema Community 5, an operation that resulted in two suspected robbers being shot and the recovery of a firearm, ammunition, and other exhibits.

Those elevated to higher ranks include Chief Inspector Enoch Nartey Nuer, Inspector Gershon Dekpey, Inspector Prince Asante, Sergeant Lukman Mohammed, Sergeant Eugene Kuudouru, Corporal Jerome Akator, and Lance Corporal Jonathan Sewurah.
Christian Tetteh Yohuno, alongside members of the Police Management Board (POMAB), commended the officers for their courage, discipline, and dedication to duty.

He further encouraged them to view their promotions as a renewed call to serve with even greater responsibility, while urging all personnel within the Service to uphold professionalism and commitment in the discharge of their duties.
