Mr. Ibrahim Mahama is to pay an amount of GHC12.7million to the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) by 8th May, 2017.
The amount represents duty for goods he cleared at the Tema Port with dud cheques in 2015 plus interest. The interest on the amount was worked by the Ghana Revenue Authority.
The order was communicated to Mr. Mahama this morning at EOCO head office.
