Tanzanian blogger and self-acclaimed ex-girlfriend of musician Juma Jux has stirred social media after openly admitting that she is still in love with the singer, despite his recent marriage to Priscilla Ojo.
The blogger got tongues wagging on Jux’s birthday after sharing a rather intimate photo of them kissing, a photo that was taken during their relationship.
As though that gesture was not enough, she also shared photos from the birthday celebration organised by Priscilla for her husband while pointing out how much weight Juma Jux had lost.
Her posts did not exactly receive the warm reception she may have expected.
Some social media users questioned why she was still publicly displaying affection for her former partner when he had already moved on and married, with others describing the posts as distasteful and urging her to respect the couple’s relationship.
One commenter bluntly asked why she could not leave Jux alone and move on with her life.
Her response was just as direct: “I still love him”, that one confession only added more fuel to the already blazing online conversation.
The blogger later became emotional and was seen shedding tears after being criticised over her reactions to Priscilla’s surprise birthday celebration for Jux.
For many followers, the biggest question is not whether she still has feelings for Jux, but whether those feelings should be playing out so publicly now that the musician is married.
Juma Jux, meanwhile, celebrated his birthday surrounded by his wife and loved ones.
