After swerving social media trolls by winning 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Rapper of the Year and Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year, Medikal says he has saved the rap genre from dying.
The rapper took to his Instagram page to say since he emerged on the music scene, the rap genre has elevated to another height.

According to him, for the past 4 years, he has been the Messiah who came to keep rap alive.
He captioned his post on Instagram, “4 years ago I saved Ghanaian Rap music from dying and I promise to keep it alive 🤞🏾”
