Deputy Director of Communications of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwaku Boahen has claimed that a video that circulated on social media alleging that he was sacked from the studios of Peace FM for being drunk has caused lots of disaffection for him.
According to him, his mother became traumatised and nearly fainted after watching the video which went viral on social media.

“I am not a drunkard and I don’t drink so I was shocked when the video went viral because that’s not what happened exactly in the studios of Peace FM that day.
“I received calls from friends and family who were very worried about the situation to the extent that my mother nearly fainted when she saw the video. She and my wife were worried and traumatized,” he said.
Kwaku Boahen was speaking on Adom TV’s Morning Show ‘Badwam’ on Friday.

The NDC Communicator was said to have been drunk when he appeared on a live political program on a Monday night on Peace FM with New Patriotic Party (NPP) Acting Director of Communications, Yaw Adomako Baafi.
Reports say few minutes into the programme, he began to “misbehave”, forcing host, Nana Yaw Kesse to warn him to comport himself or will be thrown out of the studio, a warning he ignored.
