Host of Adom FM’s flagship Entertainment Hall show has launched a blistering attack on UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Sonnie Badu for criticizing the ‘One Corner’ dance craze.

According to Michael Boateng popularly known as Mike Two, such utterances especially by renowned musicians are borne out of “jealousy”.

The dance and song, currently the biggest song in the country, has seen people go gaga by either perching on whatever object is before them, go under cars, chairs or whatever while others isolate themselves on the ground to do a wild gyrating move.

Several celebrities have recorded themselves doing the dance to the song released by Swedru-based artiste, Patapaa.

Sharing his view on the dance craze, Sonnie Badu said it is time the country curtail the dance to avert any loss of life considering its wild nature.

In a video posted on social media, he expressed worry over the extent some people go to demonstrate to colleagues and prospective viewers how crazy they can be.

“It’s getting dangerous. I saw someone climb an electric pole, I saw someone climb a tipper truck, I saw someone run under a car, and I saw someone dancing while cars were moving. Now this is getting out of hands. Do you want to wait until you hear somebody dead before you say ‘one corner’ killed him?” he queried.

But a livid Mike Two said the comment by Sonnie Badu is needless which has the tendency to kill Patapaa’s talent.

He said the ‘One Corner’ song has been popularized with the dance thus cannot be said to be demonic.

In a Facebook video, the Entertainment Hall presenter said the ‘One Corner’ has come to stay thus the so-called celebrities oppose to can go and burn the sea.
