The ‘King of Dancehall’ in Ghana, Shatta Wale known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah has released a single song as a tribute to Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama, the Ghanaian soldier who was lynched Monday in Central Region.

Forty-eight hours after the news of the gruesome murder hit the airwaves, the award-winning artiste has put out an emotional song commiserating with the Mahama family while praying that the “Lord deals with you [perpetrators] and you never go unpunished”.

The controversial dancehall musician poured his heart out to the family, friends and colleagues of the Captain to exercise patience hence full justice will be served.

In the song, he queried Ghanaians of the ‘True Love’ they claim they possess since no one with pure love for his fellow human will engage in such a ‘barbaric act’.

‘E dey pain me sey this things dey happen, Ghana where is your love? Ghana something is wrong. If you got love in your heart you won’t do this…”

“We go dey fight for your justice. We truly sorry. I wish I was there to stop it. I can’t watch the video…” he said in the tribute song.
