The Brong Ahafo Regional First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe has alleged that former President, John Dramani Mahama, begged investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, not to show Parliament’s corruption video.
He claimed the former President did this as a means of preventing people from seeing how corrupt he and some former Members of Parliament (MP) are.
“Some MPs from the Mahama administration were made to watch that video and because it will disgrace Mahama and his boys, he begged Anas not to show it and that is why he never showed it…,” he alleged on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Friday.

He thus wondered why the same person who could be coerced not to show a video which indicts the former President and some MPs will be in a hurry to show one that exposes officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Abronye DC therefore called on Ghanaians to boycott the premiering of #Number12, the new investigative piece from Anas.
“Ghanaians should just boycott it and allow Anas to watch his video alone. He should bring the parliament investigations he did before showing his #Number12,” he said.
Anas, he said, must be forced to show Parliament’s video before showing that of GFA.
“Anas is really joking with us. When he showed the video to Nana Addo, he did well by clearing his name by ordering the CID to investigate Kwesi Nyantakyi. Why has he not shown the video he did in parliament some years ago?

Abronye DC believes Anas and his Tiger Eye PI private investigative firm, are operating fraudulently under the laws of Ghana.
He further chastised lawyers who are accusing President Akufo-Addo of wrongdoings over his directive for Parliament to investigate Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Kwame Baffoe said these lawyers are attention seekers who want clients and not the interest of this country.
