The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a job placement initiative to support Ghanaians being evacuated from South Africa following recent developments in that country.
In a statement, the Ministry appealed to Ghanaian CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business owners willing to employ returning citizens to partner with government by providing job opportunities.
It said interested employers are encouraged to contact the Ministry’s Delivery Unit, headed by Ambassador Alexander Grant Ntrakwa, via 056 1108 000.
According to the Ministry, 120 job opportunities have already been secured through the support of patriotic Ghanaian business owners. It expressed optimism that more employers will come on board to help returning citizens reintegrate into the workforce and rebuild their lives.
