The National chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Portuphy has claimed that Ghanaian voters have regretted voting for a ‘black and white TV’ President.

Speaking at a press conference organized at the party’s headquarters in Accra, Portuphy said the abysmal performance of the four-month old administration have left Ghanaians clamouring for the return of the NDC to power.

“Ghanaians have regretted selling their colour TV for Black and White…,” he said.

The height of the abysmal performance of the administration, he said was the invasion of the KMA court by the persons believed to be aligned to pro-NPP Delta Forces to cause pandemonium that led to the freeing of the 13 members who were standing trial for allegedly assaulting the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator.

This, he said has led to Ghanaians living in a state of fear.

He however called on the voting public to keep arms crossed since according to him the NDC would not spend eight years in opposition but would be returning to power in 2020.

Kofi Portuphy further called on the Akufo-Addo-led administration to work hard to minimize the mistakes which are gradually leading to a national shame.
