A legal practitioner, K.K Amoah has been appointed by the president as the new Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

Mr. Amoah is an experienced hand in police detective work who rose to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police.

Sources say, the new EOCO Chief has had meeting with his staff already where he admonished them to work hard in the interest of the nation.

He replaces Justice Tsar Yao who was recently relieved of his position by President Nana Akufo-Addo.  Justice Tsar, one of the Deputy Executive Directors of EOCO, was appointed Acting Executive Director to replace Biadela Kweku Mortey Akpadzi, whose post-retirement contract expired.
