Ghana defender Kojo Oppong Peprah is closing in on a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce in a deal worth more than €10m, according to reports.
An agreement has reportedly been reached between the Super Lig club and French side OGC Nice for the transfer of the 22-year-old, who is now expected to sign a four-year contract before completing the switch to Turkey.
The move would mark another significant step in Oppong Peprah’s rapid rise after just one season in Ligue 1.
He joined Nice from Swedish club IF Norrkoping last summer and established himself as a key figure in the side, making 39 appearances across all competitions and scoring once during the campaign.
The centre-back had also attracted interest from fellow French club RC Strasbourg earlier in the transfer window.
Oppong Peprah’s growing reputation has also extended to the international stage.
He was included in Ghana’s final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada and the United States, featuring in the Black Stars’ matches against England and Croatia.
