The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) has revealed they together with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will be meeting the Parliamentary Select  Committee on sport over Ghana’s failure to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Robert Sarfo Mensah revealed this on Asempa FM’s Ultimate sports show Tuesday.
This comes after the Minority Leader in Parliament, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu stated on the floor of the House that officials of the GFA have some explaining to do with regards to the failures of the national teams.

The senior national team ,Black Stars ,failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup following a poor qualification campaign, which culminated in just one win in six group games.
Ghana’s bid for a fourth successive World Cup appearance was subsequently halted, with Egypt topping Group E and picking the ticket to the Mundial.
The Black Stars ‘B’ also failed to qualify for the 2018 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) once again after succumbing to a shock 2-1 loss at home to Burkina Faso .
Ghana secured the hosting rights to the 2018 edition of the eighth -nation competition last year.
The GFA was unable to appear before the Parliamentary Select committee on sports as scheduled earlier due to their heavily involvement in the 2017 CAF Awards which was held in Ghana.
