The Ghana Education Service (GES) has directed Regional Directors of Education to notify applicants for the 2026 promotion exercise to check the status of their applications through a designated online portal from Thursday, October 15, 2026.
In a notice dated October 14, 2026, the GES said all applicants should visit the portal to access updates on their respective applications.
The directive, signed by Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access, Munawaru Issahaque, on behalf of the Director-General, requires Regional Directors to ensure the information reaches all eligible applicants promptly.
The Service has also urged the directors to use the appropriate administrative channels to disseminate the notice and ensure compliance within the stipulated timeline.

The GES described the directive as urgent and appealed for the cooperation of Regional Directors to ensure the successful implementation of the promotion exercise.
