Former Central Region Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has given a list of persons he will like to see emerge as winners in the upcoming national elections of his party.
Mr Jacobs who has been particularly critical of the General Secretary of his party, Mr Asiedu Nketiah, says he will prefer to see Mr Koku Anyidoho occupying his position.
Mr Jacobs who is the immediate past chairman of his party in the Central Region where his party lost a lot of grounds in the 2016 elections also wants the incumbent chairman replaced by Mr Hudu Yahaya.
“For Party chairman, Hudu Yahaya is my sure bet, General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho,” Mr Jacoba declared.
He named Barbara Asamoah as his preferred candidate for the position of a Deputy General Secretary and Joshua Hamidu Akamba as National Organiser.
Mr Sammy Gyamfi is the man to be given the job of a communication officer, according to Mr Jacobs.
The Congress to elect national officers for the NDC is scheduled to take place on the 17th of November, 2018 at the International Trade Fair Centre, Accra.
About 9,350 delegates are expected to vote in the elections.
