Business manager of Fancy Gadam, Erasmus Akoto has disclosed that the “Total Cheat” hitmaker is still in shock after his concert was called off over the weekend after his fans died in a tragic accident.

Fancy Gadam, alongside reggae dancehall artiste, Patoranking, were expected to perform at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on that fateful day when the incident occurred.

The  show was called off when the shocking accident which claimed eight lives, six of which were his fans and the other two being staff of Zylofon media.

Speaking to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Tuesday, Mr. Akoto said Fancy is still saddened and shocked about the incident.

He noted that, management of Fancy Gadam is yet to hold a meeting to decide when to hold the concert.

“He is still in shock. We are standing as a team. It will take a heartless person to still go ahead to stage it.  We’ve sold about 17 to 18,000 tickets already. We told the fans to still hold on to their tickets. We are yet to come out with the official stand if the concert will be held or not…”

Meanwhile, the Municipal Chief Executives of Tamale, Iddrisu Musah Superior, has banned musical concerts in the city.

“We are not going to allow one single individual to take the whole Tamale to ransom. I have spoken to him, I have spoken to his managers but this young man would not listen. Why would you want to mobilize young men, innocent people on the street, just because you want to make money? You want to use the blood of the people to make money? We won’t tolerate that”, Superior fumed.
