Adom FM’s “Dwaso Nsem” host, Captain Smart has given a breakdown of how UT Bank shareholders shared monies meant for the bank’s operations among close friends and business counterparts.

According to Captain, of the 18 people who took loans with no collateral, there were 6 others who also collected monies without the consent of the financial institution’s board.

He explained further that there were loans that recorded no official stamps of the UT Bank.

“20 loans… they were shared among close relatives who took it without collateral. Companies went with no collateral so 18 people took 415 million Ghana Cedis. Evidence shows UT bank board had not approved for 6 out of the 18 people…” Captain said.
