Eric Bekoe’s move to Asante Kotoko seems to have hit a snag after reports emerged on Friday that the striker was reportedly stopped from training with his former club.
Reports say Bekoe who has expressed a strong desire to feature for African club of the century trained for only 15 minutes on Thursday.
His fate however hangs as the Board Chairman of the Porcupine Warrior is reportedly not in favour of the move.
Reports say the player who felt unwelcome at the club is currently on his way back to Accra.
It is uncertain if he will return to Kumasi again to train with the current FA Cup Champions.
The player is said to be unhappy with the treatment meted out to him in Kumasi.
