EOCO declares Emmanuel Ababio wanted over alleged fraud

The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has declared Emmanuel Ababio wanted in connection with an alleged case of fraud by false pretences.

In a wanted notice published on its official X page on Friday, July 24, 2026, the anti-graft agency appealed to the public to assist with information that could lead to his arrest.

“The above-named person is wanted by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for the alleged offences of defrauding by false pretences,” the notice stated.

EOCO urged anyone with information regarding Mr. Ababio’s whereabouts to report to its Head Office, located adjacent to the Old Parliament House on Barnes Road in Accra, any of its regional offices, or the nearest police station.

The agency also provided dedicated contact numbers for members of the public to submit information that could assist in locating the suspect.

According to the notice, anyone with relevant information can contact EOCO on 0579 723 314 or 0579 709 066.

The anti-graft agency encouraged the public to cooperate with law enforcement authorities by providing credible information that would facilitate the arrest of the suspect.
