For Nations FC, the occasion marks a historic breakthrough as they reach the FA Cup final for the first time. The club’s impressive cup run comes despite a difficult domestic campaign that ended in relegation from the Ghana Premier League after they accumulated 44 points.
Dreams FC, by contrast, arrive with experience and confidence. The top-four league finishers are making their second FA Cup final appearance, having previously lifted the trophy in the 2022/23 season.

Route to the final
Nations FC have impressed with a disciplined and compact run. They began their campaign with a win over Ebony FC in the Round of 64 before eliminating AshantiGold SC.
They went on to record victories against Swedru All Blacks (2-1), Berekum Chelsea on penalties in the quarter-finals, and Aduana FC in the semi-finals in Swedru. Across the competition, they have scored eight goals and conceded only two, highlighting their defensive strength.
Dreams FC have also taken a resilient path, combining organisation with attacking quality. They defeated Semper Fi 2-1 in the early rounds, beat Asanska FC 2-0, and edged Inter Allies in the quarter-finals after a 1-1 draw and a 4-3 penalty shootout win.
Their standout result came in the semi-finals, where they overcame Medeama SC 3-2 in a closely fought encounter.
The winner of Sunday’s final will secure Ghana’s ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup, adding further significance to an already highly anticipated showdown.
